Food Truck Dimensions
- Length for metered parking: spaces on city property - 20 ft max
- Length for non-metered parking: spaces on city property - 26 ft max
- Length for parking on privately-owned property - 40 ft max
- Width - 10 ft max
- Height - no restrictions BUT awning must be 7+ feet above the sidewalk
These dimension guidelines include the added length of any trailer hitch, trailer cart, awnings, or extensions.
Pushcart Dimensions
- Length - 8 ft max
- Width - 5 ft max
- Height - 10 ft max
- Minimum 2 wheels, maximum 4
These dimension guidelines include canopies, umbrellas, transparent enclosures, or any other attachments to the pushcart.
Additional information to consider when building your pushcart:
- Your cart must be built of durable materials that are easy to clean and appropriate for exterior use.
- No bare or pressure- treated wood without an additional glossy finish.
- Stability features such as brakes or chocks are required.
- Hitches or handles must detach and be stored, or folded, out of the way while pushcart is in use.
- Pushcarts are to be open and vendors cannot be enclosed by the pushcart.
- Pushcarts are to be located fully within the boundaries of paved sidewalk surface or tree belt while in public space—cannot obstruct pedestrian or vehicular traffic.
- Pushcarts must be positioned to allow unobstructed pedestrian walkways at least 5 ft in width. If this 5 ft gap does not exist, no vending is allowed in this space.
